AC Milan signed forward Alphadjo Cissé from Hellas Verona and loaned him to Catanzaro until season end. The transfer cost was reported at about €10m. Cissé had already been among the best players in Italy’s second division and missed roughly four months in 2026 after tendon surgery. Catanzaro reached the promotion play-off final but lost to Monza. After the second leg, Cissé credited support from the president, director, and manager, and said the team’s people-first approach helped them reach the final.
