AC Milan has moved quickly in the last 48 hours by sacking Igli Tare and Massimiliano Allegri and by not renewing Geoffrey Moncada’s contract. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is tasked with sifting through sporting director candidates and will be entrusted with selecting candidates for coach and sporting director roles. Massimo Calvelli will choose the new CEO. Milan aims to complete the process within seven to ten days. Ramon Planes is a serious candidate after working in Spain for Real Betis, Espanyol, Getafe, and Rayo Vallecano, with major development work at Barcelona. Viktor Bezhani is another option as an internal-style candidate, currently sporting director at Toulouse and connected through RedBird Capital Partners ownership. Other names include Lee Congerton and Fabio Paratici.
