Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been reinstated to the England squad for matches against Andorra and Serbia. The 29-year-old last played for England in November 2018 against the United States. His recall followed Adam Wharton's withdrawal with an adductor injury. Loftus-Cheek said he had "completely forgot" about pushing for a recall and had been watching as a fan. He previously played under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, featuring in multiple positions and being valued for his physicality. Loftus-Cheek joined AC Milan in 2023, has 71 appearances with 11 goals and three assists, and scored in Milan's recent 2-0 win over Lecce.
