Belgian carrier De Lijn has confirmed the acquisition of 100 new articulated electric buses from Iveco Bus, augmenting their ongoing framework agreement. This order is in addition to the 141 E-WAY 18-meter buses already being delivered. The new fleet is scheduled for delivery starting in late 2026 and aims to support De Lijn's goal of achieving fully emission-free public transport in Flanders by 2035. The buses will have advanced safety features and amenities for passenger comfort, highlighting the commitment to sustainable and efficient public transport.
