Forgive me Volvo, I was wrong: The 2025 V60 Cross Country review
Briefly

The review discusses the Volvo V60 Cross Country, noting an average fuel economy of 23 mpg against a combined EPA rating of 27 mpg, highlighting the impact of the mild hybrid system. Despite aesthetically pleasing front seats, they lack lateral support. The Ultra trim adds enhancements like ventilation and massage features, but the infotainment system feels outdated. A notable downside is the overly sensitive rear emergency braking system. Overall, the reviewer appreciates the car's agility and ride comfort after two weeks of use, while lamenting the diminishing options for station wagons in 2025.
While I am a big fan of the way the V60's front seats look, they could do with quite a lot more lateral support.
The cabin is still much as it was five years ago...the infotainment system is old and its screen is small by 2025's standards.
My biggest complaint about the V60 Cross Country is the over-eager rear emergency braking system.
After two weeks with the car there was little else I could find to criticize, and I missed its agility and easy ride.
