ATM Messina, the municipal public transport operator of Messina, Sicily, has taken delivery of 29 battery-electric buses from Iveco Bus, consisting of eighteen 12-metre and eleven 9.5-metre vehicles. This delivery expands ATM's electric bus fleet to 97 BEVs out of a total 232-unit fleet, which also includes 19 hybrid vehicles and 116 low-emission units. An additional 18 electric buses are expected by June 2026, including 12 articulated vehicles for the Shuttle line and six 8-metre buses.
