Toyota confirms the all-electric compact C-HR is coming to the US
Briefly

Toyota has confirmed the all-electric C-HR will debut in the US next year, transitioning from its previous gas-powered version. This electric crossover will feature a single 77 kWh battery, providing 290 miles of range, which is less than its European counterpart. The company intends to introduce various powertrain options, including hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells. Despite having significant power and acceleration, the C-HR avoids being labeled as a hot hatch. Plus, it will include a North American Charging Standard port, ensuring compatibility with extensive charging networks.
The C-HR isn't a hot hatch by any stretch of the imagination, but it has enough mustard under its hood to put a smile on your face.
In the US, the C-HR will only have one battery option with 77 kWh of capacity. Interestingly, that pack only offers 290 miles.
