This is Apple's magnetic Crossbody Strap for the iPhone 17 family
"The strap will work with Apple's iPhone 17 cases, which have long been rumored to have a couple of holes for it to run through. The strap has what is dubbed by the source of this leak as "an innovative system", whereby it features a flexible metal core that makes it fully magnetic across its entire length. At the ends there are rings polarized oppositely, thus creating a magnetic attraction and closing it with enhanced strength, ensuring a robust hold."
"With this mechanism in place, attachment and detachment of the strap should be a breeze, and the need for traditional hooks or loops is completely eliminated. The strap will be made out of woven nylon, allegedly similar to that used in Apple's Sport Loop Bands. There may also be a silicone version of the strap, offering a softer touch and greater flexibility."
A new magnetic crossbody strap is planned for the iPhone 17 family ahead of the September 9 unveiling. The strap integrates with iPhone 17 cases that include holes to thread the strap through. A flexible metal core renders the strap fully magnetic along its length, while oppositely polarized rings at the ends create a strong magnetic closure that removes the need for hooks or loops. The strap is expected in woven nylon similar to Sport Loop Bands, with a possible silicone variant, color-matched to the cases. Production has reportedly begun for availability next month.
