Exclusive Arsenal column: Julian Alvarez transfer would need huge money, Anthony Gordon links & more
Briefly

The article discusses speculation surrounding Julian Alvarez's potential transfer to Arsenal, with reports suggesting Arsenal's strong interest. However, the author expresses skepticism, believing that the rumors are largely unfounded. Alvarez is reportedly content at Atletico Madrid after a successful stint since his transfer from Manchester City. The piece highlights Alvarez's potential contributions to Arsenal's attack but emphasizes the financial challenges and his current satisfaction in Spain, leading to the conclusion that the move is unlikely despite its appeal.
I would be surprised if there is much to this other than speculation. Arsenal are the club pushing the hardest for Alvarez, but it feels fanciful.
Alvarez is very happy in Spain by all accounts, he's loving it over there and is not exactly pining for a return to the Premier League.
He would add some chaos to how Arsenal play... I see a lot of what we saw in Jesus in those first few months before his injury.
It would take a huge fee to prize him away from Atletico... as exciting a prospect as it may be, I just don't see this one having much legs.
