Alessia Russo has signed a new long-term contract with Arsenal after joining from Manchester United in 2023. She has scored 36 goals in 72 appearances for the club and scored for England in the Euro 2025 final. Russo helped Arsenal win the Champions League in May and shared the Women's Super League Golden Boot with 12 goals in 21 games last season. She received nominations and team-of-the-year recognitions, including a Ballon d'Or nomination and inclusion in the PFA and Uefa Champions League teams of the year. Head coach Renee Slegers described Russo as an important, selfless contributor to goals and team culture.
