Accenture acquired UK AI firm Faculty and added roughly 400 AI experts while integrating Faculty's Frontier decision intelligence product into its product suite. Frontier links data, AI models and business processes to create unified decision systems aimed at faster, better organisational decisions. Accenture and Faculty have collaborated since 2023, applying Frontier in life sciences, including work with Novartis to improve clinical trial planning economics. Faculty developed the NHS Early Warning System used during Covid-19 and researched techniques for the AI Safety Institute related to LLM safeguards. Faculty CEO Marc Warner will become Accenture's chief technology officer.
