Three years post-pandemic, Colgate-Palmolive's Luciano Sieber leveraged AI from Uber Freight to optimize logistics and manage overwhelming data. Uber Freight is now formally launching AI-driven features for global shippers, including the expanded Insights AI. This move responds to the complex challenges of supply chains as competitors like Flexport also introduce their own AI tools. Uber Freight believes its extensive logistics knowledge can deliver immediate efficiencies to clients, highlighting AI's critical role in streamlining supply chain operations amidst increasing data complexity.
"Supply chain is inherently a data-rich problem. It's complex, it's nuanced, and AI can serve a fundamental role in shaping it and accelerating it," said Uber Freight founder Lior Ron.
"Uber Freight is betting its AI solutions can make an immediate impact on the bottom line of both its blue-chip customers and the nearly 10,000 other shippers it works with," suggesting wide application of the technology.
