The Pentagon intends to integrate xAI's Grok into both unclassified and classified networks later this month, aiming to place the world's leading AI models across the department. The Department of Defense has not released official documentation confirming the announced timeline or implementation details. An AI acceleration strategy will remove bureaucratic barriers, prioritize experimentation and focused investments, and direct enforcement of department data policies so information is available across IT systems for AI applications.
