IFS has expanded its Industrial AI portfolio by acquiring 7bridges, a supply chain specialist, whose technology will integrate with IFS Cloud. Though acquisition details are not disclosed, both the team and tech from 7bridges will contribute to scaling solutions across multiple sectors. 7bridges reports potential savings of 8 percent in transportation costs and automating 90 percent of data management tasks for customers. IFS has pursued a strategy of acquiring two companies per year since 2021, complementing its internal innovations.
According to 7bridges, customers can save an average of 8 percent in transportation costs and automate 90 percent of all data entry and management tasks. Critical logistics data, in whatever form, can be captured automatically.
