Lyft's new AI chatbot, Earnings Assistant, aims to enhance drivers' efficiency by helping them create optimized plans based on real-time data such as airport arrivals and local events. Currently in early access, drivers must join a waitlist to try the tool. Once onboard, they'll receive visual time-blocks for their routes and reminders about peak earning times, or 'Turbo' times. This feature builds on Lyft's ongoing improvements, including Lyft Rewards and a new AI-driven Driver Accomplishment Letter that summarizes driver contributions and feedback from passengers.
