"The exhibition is spread across more than twenty locations throughout the island, with the organizing Singapore Art Museum (SAM) hosting only a small fraction of the works. As a result, my two-day press preview inevitably took on the air of a tourist trip, jumping in and out of cars and trekking between various venues, from 1960s public housing estates to old shopping malls, city parks, and a former girls' school."
