The Drunken Smithy, located in Lebanon Valley Mall, offers an immersive blacksmithing experience led by co-owners Greg Ramsey and Eitri Jones. The idea originated over drinks, evolving into a venue where patrons can learn to forge various items such as swords and axes. Classes last four hours, and participants leave with a unique handmade piece that holds personal value. The facility features high-temperature forges and includes axe throwing post-class. On-site, there is also a winery serving mead, although alcohol consumption is reserved until class completion.
The Drunken Smithy offers classes where patrons can forge axes, knives, swords, and more, learning the art of blacksmithing from on-site instructors.
Students leave the 4-hour class with a handmade item of their own, which they will never want to throw away because it's cool and has energy and value.
We've got three forges that can reach about 1800 degrees, allowing for a unique and immersive blacksmithing experience.
After guests forge their item, there's axe throwing available, enhancing the experience at The Drunken Smithy.
