One of London's greatest art galleries has launched half-price entry for under-30s
"To be eligible for the scheme, all you have to do is be aged 18 to 30. If that's you, you're able to get discounts and deals at several different parts of the Centre, including the Hayward Gallery, Royal Festival Hall and several shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Perks include half-price tickets to the Hayward Gallery and discounts on hundreds of shows, but that isn't all."
"If you're a financially savvy 20-something in the capital, now you've another London institution to nab discounted tickets for. Barbican, Tate, BFI and the National Theatre are among those already offering youth discounts - though it's worth noting that the Southbank Centre's scheme is more inclusive, going all the way up to 30 (the aforementioned others all stop at 25). To get the discounts and deals, you'll need to sign up for free on the Southbank Centre website here."
The Southbank Centre has introduced a free benefits scheme for 18 to 30-year-olds offering discounts across the venue. Members receive half-price Hayward Gallery exhibition tickets, reduced prices on hundreds of shows, and deals at bars, cafés and shops such as £5 cocktails, half-price coffees and £5 off online purchases (T&Cs apply). Members also receive a regular newsletter with offers, news and events. The centre will mark its 75th birthday in 2026 with major openings and events, including a Danny Boyle-curated festival and an Anish Kapoor exhibition. Sign-up is free on the Southbank Centre website.
