Bayern Munich Frauen announce two signings

Bayern Munich Frauen have successfully signed Danish defender Stine Ballisager from Fiorentina for the 2025/26 season on a two-year contract. Ballisager, 31, boasts a rich playing history, starting from Denmark to clubs in Norway and the USA before her transition to Italy. With over 60 international caps for Denmark, she is recognized for her defensive skills, technical ability, and leadership qualities. Bayern’s technical director highlights her experience and hunger for titles, reinforcing her fit for the team’s ambitions as they seek more success in women's football.
Francisco De Sá Fardilha, FC Bayern Women technical director, stated, "We've been in touch with Stine over the last two years and are happy we've now been able to sign her. She's a fighter, is quick and strong in duels, as well as being a good technical player."
Stine Ballisager expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "I'm excited to get to play for FC Bayern Women from this summer. I've been following the club for a long time."
