Official: Nadiem Amiri leaves Germany camp due to injury
Briefly

Nadiem Amiri's move from Bayer Leverkusen to 1. FSV Mainz 05 was a significant turning point in his career. At Mainz, he transformed into a crucial player, helping the team compete for Champions League spots and securing entry into the Conference League. His impressive performance earned him his maiden call-up to the German national team by manager Julian Nagelsmann. However, an adductor injury prevented Amiri from solidifying a position with the team, leaving Germany's midfield weakened ahead of crucial matches, such as against Portugal.
Amiri immediately became one of Mainz's most important players and played a key role as Mainz shocked everyone to compete for Champions League football and eventually end up in the Conference League.
Amiri's exploits did not go unnoticed by Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann, who decided to call up the 28-year-old to the Germany squad for the first time in his career during the March international break and hand him his debut.
Unfortunately, Germany's official twitter account posted this update shortly after Amiri joined the squad: 'Nadiem Amiri is leaving today due to adductor issues. Get well soon, Nadiem!'
With Amiri's injury alongside that of Angelo Stiller, the midfield is looking rather thin, particularly as it looks as if Germany will not call up a replacement.
