Gina Birch announces new album Trouble, shares "Causing Trouble Again"
Briefly

Gina Birch, co-founder of the Raincoats and an influential figure in post-punk music, is set to release her new solo album 'Trouble' on July 11th. This album is a follow-up to her debut, featuring 11 diverse tracks blending post-punk, dub, and experimental rock, produced by Killing Joke's Youth. The lead single 'Causing Trouble Again' serves as a tribute to female icons and is inspired by a feminist art exhibition. The music video showcases a collective of female artists. Birch's forthcoming tour will include performances of these new songs this fall.
The record title refers to all the mini revolutions that have occurred in my life, not following the usual paths, falling down holes, making the same mistakes over and over.
The lead single, 'Causing Trouble Again,' is a six-minute ode to female icons, inspired by the feminist art exhibition 'Women in Revolt!' at Tate Britain.
