We don't want to host if KAJ's sauna song wins Eurovision, says Swedish city of Malmo
Briefly

As the Eurovision final approaches in Switzerland, Malmo has stated it may not host the event again next year if the Finnish group KAJ wins with their sauna-themed entry, "Bara bada bastu." The song, popular in both Sweden and Finland, has already topped streaming charts. Malmo's decision follows a successful event last year, but city officials, including marketing head Anna Wittgren, feel hosting such a large-scale event annually is unsustainable. Despite the city’s pride and successful management of the previous contest, they prefer to pass hosting responsibilities to other cities.
Anna Wittgren, Malmo city's head of marketing, emphasized that the city needs more time to prepare for such a large event, saying it's too big to host every two years.
The Finnish group KAJ, whose sauna-themed entry has captivated audiences, showcases the melding of traditional themes with contemporary music in their popular song, 'Bara bada bastu'.
