Killian Jornet Just Summited 72 U.S. Peaks in 31 Days - All by Bike and Foot
"On his impressive list of adventures, Jornet has summited Mount Everest twice in one week without supplemental oxygen, set the fastest known times up gargantuan peaks like Denali, Mont Blanc, and the Matterhorn. He has summited all 177 peaks in the Pyrenees above 3,000 meters in just eight days in 2023, and all 82 peaks above 4,000 meters in the Alps in 19 days, all connected by bike."
"For perspective, this journey is equivalent to running a marathon and completing a Tour de France stage every day for 31 days, all at elevation. Approaching this adventure, Jornet wanted this to be an explorative journey of the American West, and he headed into the epic with a calm and composed mindset."
