Polygon Strattos C is a Lighter, Comfortable Carbon All-Road Bike, Still Quite Affordable
"Now with room for up to 34mm tires and further dropped narrow seatstays for more rear-end compliance, the new Polygon Strattos C is built for all-day riding on all-roads. And while it's not as cheap as the surprisingly low-priced carbon Strattos S, the new Strattos C is one of the most affordable road bikes you can buy with electronic groupsets, aero carbon wheels, integrated cockpits, and the best of all the latest modern road bike standards."
"Polygon created the all-new Strattos C to take their all-day, 'long ride' endurance road bike family to the next level. Polygon is vague as to what the C really stands for. But comfort, compliance & control get mentioned a lot. Those three Cs seem to be the heart of the redesign of the low-cost all-rounder carbon Strattos family, giving this new bike bigger tires not only to open it up to all-road riding, but really just to smooth out all roads."
The Strattos C targets all-day, long-ride endurance with a focus on comfort, compliance, and control. The frame uses a lighter carbon layup and reworked geometry that raises Stack while shortening Reach to produce a more upright riding position, reducing strain on the back and shoulders. The design allows up to 34mm tires and narrower, further dropped seatstays to increase rear-end compliance while retaining steep road geometry and short chainstays for sharp handling. The bike ships with affordable high-spec features including electronic groupset compatibility, aero carbon wheels, and an integrated one-piece LINC carbon bar-and-stem cockpit.
