Signature Bikes launched as a rider-driven brand led by Brett Rheeder, uniting top slopestyle and freeride athletes under a clean Signature script logo. The initial product range focused on technical mountain bike apparel, lifestyle pieces, and staple items for transitions from riding to trail maintenance. Teasers foreshadowed components, and prototypes were tested at Crankworx Whistler during Red Bull Joyride practice. Riders drew names to trial prototype handlebars (28mm and 42mm rise, 800mm width) and standard-mount stems (short 32mm and long 42mm, 35mm diameter). Rheeder plans a phased component rollout to allow thorough product development.
In July, Signature Bikes gave the world eyes on its very first product launch- a line of technical mountain bike apparel, a line of lifestyle apparel, and several staple pieces to take riders from the bike to dig days and beyond. While the initial launch only featured apparel, the brand's teasers also hinted at components, which were confirmed further leading into Crankworx Whistler.
Wiggberg and Godziek, both of whom also ride for Specialized, were the lucky winners of the draw. Wiggberg is running the 28mm rise bar, and Godziek has the 42mm rise bar, both of which come in an 800mm width. Both are also running Signature Bikes standard mount stems- the brand will have two available, a shorter 32mm stem anda longer 42mm option, both in a 35mm diameter.
