Investigation continues into deadly explosion outside fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California
Briefly

A vehicle explosion outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, has led to one fatality and several injuries, prompting an extensive investigation by the FBI, which labels the incident an intentional act of terrorism. Authorities are currently piecing together evidence and examining the scene, which saw significant destruction, including shattered windows and debris spread over a large area. The identity of the deceased victim is yet to be confirmed, and the FBI has a person of interest in the case but is not actively seeking a suspect at this time.
Make no mistake, this is an intentional act of terrorism," Akil Davis, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Los Angeles Field Office, told reporters during a news conference Saturday evening.
Davis said the blast was probably one of the largest bombing investigations that we've had in Southern California, comparing it to the 2018 bombing of an Aliso Viejo day spa.
