Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software unveiled plans for Patch 1.02 of Elden Ring Nightreign, aimed at enhancing the solo player experience. Releasing next week, the patch will introduce functionalities like the 'Automatic Revival Upon Defeat' which allows players to revive once per night boss battle and improve rune acquisition. Although Nightreign focuses on multiplayer, these adjustments reflect the developers' acknowledgment of solo players amid positive reception—2 million players have engaged with the game since launch. Details on other bug fixes and balance adjustments are still pending.
"Next week, Patch 1.02 will be released, and will include several bug fixes as well as improvements for solo expeditions," the official Elden Ring account on X explained.
"After Patch 1.2, Nightreign should feel more welcoming to those solo players."
The effect 'Automatic Revival Upon Defeat', which allows revival once per night boss battle, will be added to solo expeditions.
While the full patch notes won't be released until next week, the account did tease some important updates coming to solo expeditions in Nightreign.
