Wingspan: Americas Expansion
Briefly

Wingspan: Americas Expansion
"While adding a good number of birds to the bird deck, it places the thriving diversity of hummingbirds in the forefront, with a new and separate hummingbird card deck, and new rules for how hummingbirds can be collected and scored. New components included in the expansion are an additional hummingbird board that covers a portion of the player board, a personal scoring track to keep track of types of hummingbirds collected, and a garden board that serves as the display for all available hummingbirds."
"Gameplay largely follows the same flow as the base game, with selecting one of four main actions, then activating bird powers as necessary. After all bird powers are used in the Gain Food, Lay Eggs, and Draw Cards actions, a new "hummingbird action" is then taken. The hummingbird action represents the quick flight and frenetic motion of these birds as they flit to-and-fro in search of nectar."
Previous expansions targeted specific regions; the Americas Expansion focuses on Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America and adds many new bird cards. The expansion centers hummingbirds with a separate hummingbird card deck and new rules for collecting and scoring hummingbirds. New components include an additional hummingbird board extending the player board, a personal hummingbird scoring track, and a garden board to display available hummingbirds. Core gameplay retains the base game's four main actions and bird power activations. After Gain Food, Lay Eggs, and Draw Cards actions, a new hummingbird action simulates fast, frenetic hummingbird movement while collecting nectar.
