Michael Brown, a 42-year-old MTA bus driver, was arrested after punching a 16-year-old boy on a bicycle during an incident on a B6 bus route in Borough Park. The altercation occurred around 9:35 p.m. Monday when the teen was either blocking the bus, refusing to move, or holding onto it while riding alongside. Police responded to the scene on Bay Parkway near E. 2nd Street after reports that Brown had struck the teen multiple times in the face, possibly fracturing his nose. The injured teen was transported to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. Brown was charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and reckless endangerment. His arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was pending.
