James Hagens, a top prospect for the Boston Bruins, signed his entry-level contract following a successful sophomore season at Boston College. He recently participated in optional practices with the Bruins, although he will not play in the upcoming game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Hagens showed significant improvement in his defensive skills and overall game, becoming a more complete player. His goal-scoring ability also increased dramatically, scoring 23 goals in 34 games after netting 11 in his freshman year.
