Bruins' road show continues in Dallas
"The game without the puck and not going away from our game,"
"In the past, we had some stretches where we didn't play the way we wanted. But those are the two areas we do extremely well and hopefully we can continue that here in Dallas, because it's a pretty good team over there. We need a full 60 minutes tonight."
"I give my guys a lot fo credit. I think they feel very comfortable now playing that style of hockey and it also shows us how to win hockey games, too. It's part of the process,"
The Bruins travel to Dallas aiming to extend their winning streak to seven games as the siblings trip reaches its final stop. The Stars have lost three straight and are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games. Boston has gone 8-1-1 in its last 10, driven by goaltending from Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo and improved play without the puck. Swayman is 19-11-2 with a .906 save percentage and 2.77 GAA; Jake Oettinger is 17-10-4 with a .902 save percentage; Connor Hellebuyck is 12-13-5 with a .902 and 2.71 GAA. Coach Marco Sturm credits the man/zone hybrid system for player comfort and winning results and stresses the need for a full 60 minutes.
