Jonathan Aspirot out of Bruins' lineup in Nashville
"He's been working really hard. He's been showing up every night with a good attitude. I think he played very good games in Providence and he's been outstanding here in practice. He deserves to be in. Hopefully he's going to be good tonight."
The Boston Bruins will face the Nashville Predators without defenseman Jonathan Aspirot, who is sidelined by illness after playing limited minutes in Tuesday's win over Pittsburgh. His absence enables the return of Jordan Harris, a Haverhill native who has been out since breaking his ankle against Florida on October 21. Harris completed a conditioning stint in Providence in late January and has been practicing with the team since then. Coach Marco Sturm praised Harris's work ethic and performance in practice, stating he deserves to play. According to morning skate alignments, Harris will pair with Andrew Peeke while Nikita Zadorov moves up to play with Charlie McAvoy. Joonas Korpisalo will start in goal.
