James Hagens, the No. 7 overall draft pick by the Bruins, expressed his desire to join the team as soon as possible. However, indications suggest he will return to Boston College for another season. At a recent event, Hagens outlined goals of winning the Beanpot and a national championship with the Eagles after falling short last year. GM Don Sweeney indicated that returning to BC would be the preferred route for Hagens to develop his skills and leadership, as he is expected to take on tougher matchups and assert a stronger offensive role.
He'll probably look to generate a bit more, look to have a shoot-first mentality at times... It will be a good opportunity for several of our guys...
