After the tragic loss of brothers John and Matthew Gaudreau, family and friends gathered at their home, where a double rainbow offered them comfort. Their mother, Jane, sought a sign from her sons for an event dedicated to their memory, and just before the inaugural Gaudreau Family 5K Walk/Run, another rainbow appeared. The event drew over 2,400 participants globally, highlighting the brothers' impact and the strong support from friends, family, and the hockey community, including NHL players like Brady Tkachuk.
