Retired police officer - a 'community staple' - dies in Revere fire

Richard Serino, a retired police officer who served for 34 years, tragically lost his life in a house fire in Revere. Firefighters responded to the scene after a 911 call reported heavy smoke and flames at a multi-family home. Despite immediate medical aid, Serino was pronounced dead at the hospital. Revere Mayor Patrick Keefe honored his contributions to the community and noted Serino's family's legacy in public service.
