Do you like the third Wild Card?

The third Wild Card is criticized for diluting the playoff field and removing urgency from the regular season. The format is also viewed as allowing a team that finishes fourth in its division to potentially win the World Series, which is considered unacceptable. Despite this opposition, the third Wild Card is expected to provide the Red Sox with a meaningful summer of baseball. The question is whether that benefit would change support for the format. The stance remains that the third Wild Card should still be rejected for the long-term health of a regular season where urgency matters most.
