Minor Lines 7/8: Kyle Harrison falters again
Briefly

The Red Sox secured their fifth consecutive win, with every player in the lineup, except the nine-hole hitter, contributing hits. Kyle Harrison, despite his struggles since joining the team, earned the win with a solid offensive performance backing him. Nathan Hickey hit his eleventh home run, and Vaughn Grissom continued to excel with multiple hits and RBIs. Meanwhile, the Double-A affiliate Hartford faced a tough loss despite Eduardo Rivera's quality start, as the offense faltered in a late-game collapse against the Yard Goats.
When every player in a lineup besides your nine-hole hitter gets a knock, you put yourself in a good position to win.
Five hitters grabbed doubles, and white-hot Vaughn Grissom got two and three RBIs among four hits. Grissom has now failed to get on base just once in the last two weeks and is hitting .500 in the month of July.
Eduardo Rivera had a quality start, letting up just one run on four hits in six innings.
But the lineup couldn't keep up after Caleb Boldon gave up four runs and the Yard Goats had a four-run explosive ninth inning, ending the pitcher's duel and making this a 6-1 shellacking.
