Yorke improved after a poor April and posted a .337/.382/.446 line in August. He was a 2020 first-round pick by Boston and was acquired for Quinn Priester at the 2024 deadline. Primarily a second baseman, he also has corner outfield experience, and Nick Gonzales is expected to receive most second-base starts with Yorke getting occasional left-field at-bats.
