Subsequently, he was struck by a gray 2013 Jeep Compass that also left the scene. The vehicle operator was located and interviewed by police. Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police are investigating the incident. Brandao worked as a forklift driver and was described by family as quiet, shy, and devoted to his loved ones.
