Fun on Fifth celebrates 31st year
Briefly

The BAY RIDGE - THE FUN ON FIFTH Festival is celebrating its 31st annual event in Bay Ridge this weekend. Scheduled for June 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the festival will feature live music, carnival rides, and activities for children, alongside local artists and vendors. Elizabeth Lovejoy, the Executive Director of the Bay Ridge Fifth Avenue BID, emphasizes the unique sense of community and diversity that makes Bay Ridge special. More information about event schedules can be found on the BID's Facebook page.
"What's so appealing about Bay Ridge and Fifth Avenue especially is its diversity. It's a small town in a big city. Everyone knows each other, and that's why Bay Ridge is so special," BID Executive Director Elizabeth Lovejoy told the Eagle at last year's milestone festival.
The festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, along Fifth Avenue between Bay Ridge Avenue and 85th Street, according to organizer the Bay Ridge Fifth Avenue BID.
