Park Slope Barnes & Noble to Close For Renovations

Barnes & Noble's Park Slope bookstore, located on 7th Avenue, will shut its doors on July 3 for extensive renovations that are expected to last over three months. The company announced that the store will undergo much-needed updates, having first opened in 1997. It is planned to reopen in October 2023. During the closure, customers are encouraged to visit the nearby Atlantic Avenue location. Notably, the Park Slope store was one of only three Barnes & Noble locations to unionize earlier this year, highlighting its significance within the company.
