The victim was shopping when an unidentified woman approached her from behind and removed her wallet from her purse."
"The wallet contained approximately $230 in cash along with several credit cards. The suspect then ran from the store, heading southbound on 8th Avenue. No injuries were reported. Police described the suspect as a woman with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket, a red scarf, and a white hat. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline."
