Sign Of The Times: Improving The Rider Experience Continues At Cincinnati Metro - Busline News
""These new signs represent a major step forward in how we communicate with our riders. They're designed to be clear, visible, and easy to understand, making it simpler for people to navigate our system with confidence.""
""Projects like this are made possible through strong partnerships and collaboration across local, federal, and community organizations committed to building a better transit system for everyone.""
Cincinnati Metro is launching a project to replace 3,700 bus stop signs across Hamilton County within 24 months. This initiative aims to modernize the signage system and improve the rider experience as part of the Reinventing Metro plan. Collaborating with University of Cincinnati design students, the new signs feature larger route numbers, simplified layouts, and improved visibility. Digital signage will also be installed at key stops for real-time service updates. The project is funded partly by federal transportation dollars and includes new benches and shelters.
