Studio Gang Designs a Community-Focused Brooklyn Recreation Center

The building features sculptural brick architecture with broad arched windows that draw daylight inside and provide views of surrounding areas. Commissioned by the New York City Department of Design and Construction, the project reflects the city's commitment to civic architecture that exceeds basic utility. The recreation center serves the communities Chisholm championed throughout her life and includes artwork by Vanessa German, reinforcing the building's cultural significance.
