Teen Attacked by Group At Brooklyn Train Station, Police Say
"According to police, a 17-year-old boy was waiting for the train at the Livonia Avenue subway station around 5 p.m. when he was approached by three teen boys who forcibly tried to take the victim's sweatshirt. As the boys surrounded the victim inside the station mezzanine, he fought off an attempted theft, but the group took turns punching him, and one suspect stabbed him in the leg, NYPD officials said."
"The suspects fled the station before police could arrive, and EMS rushed the bloodied teen to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, officials said. Police on Sunday released surveillance photos and video of the three suspects, all believed to be between 14 and 18 years old."
