Alaska Communications introduced ACS SmartBiz, a managed Wi‑Fi solution delivering Wi‑Fi 7 performance with speeds up to four times faster than Wi‑Fi 6 and up to 10 gig symmetrical capacity. The solution supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands, lowers latency, and handles more simultaneous devices. Integrated network‑wide cybersecurity, branded guest Wi‑Fi portals, and automatic resiliency using cellular or other backups maintain uptime. A self‑service mobile app enables remote monitoring, network modification, and staff access management. The offering targets small businesses across Alaska and leverages the Calix Broadband Platform for deployment and system intelligence.
