American Express has introduced a Flexible Payment Option for eligible Business Platinum and Business Gold cardholders in the UK, providing an instant line of credit through business charge cards. Cardholders can pay their monthly statement in full, pay the minimum, or choose any intermediate amount, with interest charged only on the portion carried forward. The capability is embedded in the card and managed via online accounts or the American Express app. No interest is charged if the full balance is paid by the due date, and cardmembers retain up to 54 calendar days interest-free to improve short-term liquidity.
