Anheuser-Busch is investing $30 million in its Jacksonville, Florida brewery and can plant to upgrade brewing and packaging equipment and expand production of Michelob ULTRA. The investment is part of the Brewing Futures initiative, which invested more than $300 million in U.S. facilities over the past year to create and sustain manufacturing jobs, advance technical skills training, and strengthen manufacturing career opportunities for veterans. Upgrades will include bottling-line and brewing-tank improvements to increase capacity for fast-growing beers. Chicago-based Circana and Nielsen report Michelob ULTRA is the No. 1 top-selling beer nationwide and in Florida, including bars and restaurants.
