Breezeline Introduces Symmetrical 2.5 Gbps in Five States
"This launch shows Breezeline is the right choice for speed and value,"
"This ultra-fast 2.5 Gig internet speed, along with our recent expansion of fiber internet across five states, proves our commitment to providing customers with great connectivity at an affordable price point that truly meets the demands of today's digital life."
"Our newly announced 2.5 Gig services are delivered using XGS-PON fiber technology,"
Breezeline introduced a symmetrical 2.5 Gbps fiber service delivered using XGS-PON as its fastest tier. The provider serves 13 states and launched the new tier in Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Virginia, and West Virginia. Upgrades were made to fiber infrastructure rather than legacy cable systems. In January 2024 construction finished in Somersworth, Madbury, Dover, Durham, and Concord, New Hampshire; that expansion cost more than $40 million and created a 525-mile fiber network reaching over 45,000 addresses. A $42 million West Virginia initiative built 283 miles of fiber and reached almost 40,000 homes and businesses in Monongalia County. Breezeline launched Breezeline Mobile in March 2024 and rebranded from Atlantic Broadband in 2022.
