Metronet expanded its 100% fiber-optic network to three million homes and businesses, becoming the first dedicated fiber provider to reach that milestone. The company now operates as a wholesale builder and operator under a T-Mobile and KKR joint venture, providing T-Mobile Fiber for residential and microbusiness customers while serving commercial clients directly. Network growth accelerated from one million locations after 17 years to three million in just over one year.
